An accomplished Middle Eastern dancer with 15 years of experience in the field, Morgiana performs in concerts, clubs, restaurants, at festivals, private functions, special events. She was featured dancer and entertainment director for the former Jabbour's Ali BaBa restaurant in the Poconos and has also been featured regularly at the Marakesh restaurant, Baladi restaurant and Ristorante Christina. She is a company member of Caravan To Cairo: Dances of North Africa and the Middle East, which tours to schools in the tri-state area. She has studied Middle Eastern dance with Samara, her current teacher and coach, Jajouka, Mish-Mish, Phaedra, and the late Ibrahim Farrah. Morgiana is a teacher and special guest artist/instructor for dance workshops, and also produces dance workshops/galas featuring the top names in Arabic dance. Her dance background also includes training in Polynesian, tap and jazz. Additionally, she has studied mime with Robyn Baker Flatt and John Stevens and the Laban movement style with Juana Laban. She has trained extensively in the Shotokan style of karate with Master Sensei Masataka Mori.
